RHYMORPHS by Sri Rama is a contemporary presentation of the traditional Indian classical dance style of Kuchipudi. The other three works have been created under the artistic mentorship of Cultural Medallion recipient Lim Fei Shen, Leong Jian Hao's In the Ashes explores the symbolism of the rose, aptly set to the soundtrack from the movie, American Beauty. In The Sharman's Cat, Edwin Wee treads into the world of the paranormal while Liu Xin cuts through the veneer of people who appear to be perfect for each other in Unexpected Encounter. |
